Just Forgiven

Just forgiven is an inspirational gospel group from  Cleveland Ohio . The group  was formed in March 2004, by members for the Glenville New Life Community Church Choir.  The group came together to spread the word of God and help to raise money to support their church's Nehemiah Project.  Members include: Lawrence C. Rush , Joseph Billups, Gregory A. Cosper, Renee Pride and Betty J. McClain Love.  Charita Banes and Latanya Deane were also founding members of the group.

This God driven  group has developed a smooth Christian style of their own . With their combined  harmony and soft but sometimes brassy tone they seem to bring  you right into their songs. Through the combined song writing and text of the songs they bring glory and honor to God.

Some members are  entrepreneurs , actors, and actresses, music directors, song writers ,and playwrights. Just Forgiven has preformed at various events such as , churches, nursing homes, Christian book stores, parties , and other community events.

Just Forgiven recorded and marketed their first CD in November of 2005. All materials were written and composed by the group. they are  currently working on a new CD with all new material

Larry Rush

Lawrence  C. Larry Rush is the baritone in the group . He has a great history  in the music industry  in the late 70's  He co formed a record: management company  and worked with some of the biggest and most talented groups in greater Cleveland . He did some public relations work with Northern Entertainment and the Dazz Band.  He also worked with his good friend, Gus Hawkins of the group "S.O.U.L." Sound Of Unity and Love. Because of his love for Jesus Christ , he helped form the gospel group ''Just forgiven "  and truly believes this is the way  his musical career is suspose to be  moving . He love the  lord and the other members in the group . He love is wife Jackie, his daughter Dr. Tiffany ,his son Rev. Larry jr. and his beautiful granddaughter   Arbor his heart and ask God to Bless You All!!

Renee Pride

Renee Pride is the soprano in the group she has been singing since a very young age . She has been a member of Glenville New Life Community Church since 1997 and sings in the praise and women's choir . She has studied  classical voice and has sung in various groups. She has sung in R&B groups as well as the female inspirational group , N'Voyce. She has  sung  at various churches and events. She has also acted in various plays .

 Gregory A. Cosper   

  Gregory is a Cleveland born actor who has been acting in Cleveland and abroad for over 15 years. He resides in Cleveland and got his professional  start performing on Karamu House stage , where he has also taught theater . Some of his performances have been : August Wilson's Piano Lesson in which he portrayed Wining Boy, and Seven Guitars in which he portrayed Floyd Barton. His most memorable performance was a Tribute to Black Music  at Cleveland's Music Hall in which he preformed a dance honoring Sammie Davis Jr. as Mr. Bo jangles. Gregory is choir director for Glenville New Life Community Church in Cleveland and also dose musical work, performing and consulting under his production company , Eagle's Nest Management.

Betty J. Mcclain Love

Betty attended church very early taken by her dad and mom  she  became a member of Glenville New Life Community Church in  1999 . And now sings with the group Just Forgiven. Betty has been singing since  the age of  15 with her brothers  and community  group. She co/manage the singing group in the early '80's' . She has 1yr of  business Tri-C community college .

Joseph L. Billups

Joseph L. Billups also known as “Joey” is a native of Cleveland and currently working as an active law enforcement officer.  He has attended Ohio University in the studies of Tele-communication. He is a certified Executive Protection Specialist, training in that area internationally. He is also a member of the National African-American Speakers Association and he speaks professionally to groups and organization nationally. As a Cleveland native growing up in the Glenville area where he is a member of Glenville New Life Community Church for over 38 years he sings with the praise choir and men’s gospel group and also with the nationally known Cleveland Men of Song where he has been receiving voice training as well.  As a member of “Just Forgiven” he sings with a passion praising God through song.
